North Carolina passed amendment one today. it’s a sad day when of bunch of narrow minded individuals get to decide who marries and who doesn’t. There are plenty of straight couples who give the sanctity of marriage a TERRIBLE name. Same sex couples will stop procreation? That is one of the stupidest things I’ve heard - as if ALL people will be gay. Legalizing same sex marriage doesn’t mean the world will end - it means families can have a normal life, with normal benefits. We live in America - Home of the Selective Freedoms.

Gay marriage?! That’s what you are concerned about? How about instead of wasting time and money fighting against something that isn’t wrong you take those resources and efforts and put it back in the school system. Kids are recieving less and less of an education every year and you want to know why? Its because dumb fucks would rather spend time and money preventing people from getting married.

I really don’t see why some Christians believe that their religious beliefs must be made law or else their religious freedom is infringed upon. I’m sorry, but there are other religions besides Christianity, and freedom of religion would mean that they aren’t held to the standards of a religion they don’t follow.
